Topics covered may include information and the policy process, the politics of policy-making and implementation, collaborative governance, policy evaluation, coordination and oversight of team-led policy projects, as well as various topical courses related to specific areas of public policy (e.g., environment, education, health, science & technology). We expect the course to be taught during the 2023-24 academic year. Required: B.A. or B.S. in a field appropriate to the course to be taught (including, but not limited to, Public Policy, Political Science). At least 3 years of professional working experience in the fields of public policy, social services, collaborative governance (as applicable). Desired: An M.A. or M.S. in a field appropriate to the course (e.g., public policy, political science, other relevant social science fields, and law). Experience teaching both theoretical as well as practice-oriented policy courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
